I felt okay Saturday and the pain came back as soon as I ran, so I'm hesitant to try again. Plan is to try Friday night and make a game time decision about the race. Looking like a DNS. My pirifo...I am so sorry you are dealing with this. My piriformis gets tight and I have found that sitting and rolling on a tennis ball really helps work it out. It is a deep muscle so it is hard to get it adequately with a foam roller. I roll it with a tennis ball and then stretch thoroughly. Hope you heal up quickly!!
