The injury revealed itself February 28 with some limping. In retrospect, I had all the classic symptoms that very day. I'm not sure weather or not my attempted marathon on March 17 (only ran 2.5 miles, plus the last .25 with my husband) or the 2 miles I did on the treadmill in early April delayed healing at all.... all things considered, 4 months from presentation to clearance to run for this injury is pretty good, especially since it wasn't diagnosed until early May.Gretchen Lynchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08996526173423461038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6787525782810748369.post-86413449959074724132013-07-15T02:49:45.773-07:002013-07-15T02:49:45.773-07:00Just stumbled on your blog. I am pretty sure I have had it since Nov/Dec but wasn't officially diagnosed until May (!) Seems I was doing all the things you were doing (chiro, ART, physical therapy) thinking it was a soft tissue injury for such a long time. I just read your other post on what your doctor said about the percent healed for time passage for this type of an injury. I am hoping to be cleared to run in mid-August which will be 3.5 months of not running. I'm with you on knowing what it is and that bones can heal up.RoadBunnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02628262932938865868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6787525782810748369.post-49964536486272132812013-04-29T06:26:04.481-07:002013-04-29T06:26:04.481-07:00Sorry Gretchen, this must be so frustrating for yo...Sorry Gretchen, this must be so frustrating for you for sure. I've had similar pain patterns before, though obviously not due to anything as serious as what you're dealing with, and they make your life pure misery.
